In 2016 we were pleased to be performing our own arrangements of songs and tunes collected in Gloucestershire as part of the ‘Single Gloucester’ project, to bring the Heritage Lottery-funded GlosTrad.com archive to a wider audience.
Combining our skills as composers, arrangers, instrumentalists and singers we created contemporary arrangements of some fantastic local repertoire, giving audiences a fascinating insight into folk music collected in Gloucestershire over the last 150 years.
Several of our Single Gloucester tune sets have crept into our ceilidh repertoire, so please visit our ceilidhs page for upcoming dates! In the meantime you might enjoy these videos of our non-dance repertoire, performed at Sidmouth Folk Week and at the Bristol Folk House:
